futures.land aims to be readable and usable by everyone, and to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What this means in practice
- The site works with a keyboard alone, and the keyboard focus is always visible.
- Text and its background meet the AA contrast levels.
- Pages have one main heading and a clear heading order, so screen readers can move through them.
- Images and diagrams that carry meaning have a text description; decorative patterns are hidden from screen readers.
- Animations stop if your device asks for reduced motion.
- The layout adapts to any screen width from a small phone to a wide monitor, and text can be enlarged without loss of content.
Known limits
Some diagrams explain ideas visually. Their meaning is always also given in the text next to them. If anything on the site does not work for you, please tell us.
