In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Futures Land SIA. “You” means anyone using this website.

2. What this site is

futures.land presents the strategic foresight services, methods and research of Futures Land: reports, strategy stress tests, workshops and longer engagements for organisations.

Foresight is not prediction or advice. The content of this site describes possible futures and our way of working. Nothing on it is financial, investment, legal or other professional advice, and decisions you make based on it are your own.

3. Using the site

You may read, share and link to anything here freely, and quote from it with attribution and a link.

You may not republish substantial parts of the site, sell our content or present it as your own. You may not use the site to break the law, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or interfere with its operation.

All text, images, diagrams, methods and names on this site, including the Preferred Futures Method, the 16 Archetypal Future Worlds, MetaMatrix, the Library of Foresights, the Preferred Future System and Pythia, are owned by Futures Land SIA or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.

4. Engagements and reports

Services described on this site are offered to organisations. Each engagement is agreed in writing, with its own scope, timetable, fees, confidentiality and intellectual property terms. Those agreed terms take precedence over these website terms.

Published reports are available as individual research products. Purchase is arranged by invoice: we confirm the order, the price and the delivery in writing before anything is due. Prices quoted to businesses are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

Descriptions of services and reports on this site are an invitation to discuss an engagement, not a binding offer.

5. Contacting us

Messages sent through the contact form are answered personally. Sending a message does not create an obligation for either side.

6. Liability

We publish in good faith and take care to be accurate, but we cannot guarantee that everything on this site is correct, complete or current, or that any future described here will come about.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. Links to other sites

We link to research, publications and our other sites. We do not control other sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes fall to the courts of Latvia.
